When completing 75 years of the death of one of the most important and fundamental figures in the history of plectrum instruments, as the teacher, concertist and composer Don Félix de Santos e Sebastián, the mandolinist and bandúrrista Jordi Sanz bring to light this monographic CD by the composer from Valladolid, which covers some of his best-known concert works. It should be noted that the works that make up this work have never been registered before, therefore, this is an unpublished publication.
Thus, Magdalena, Movimiento Perpetuo or Polonesa Brillante among others, which already sounded at the beginning of the 20th century. XX by the hand of the composer himself, will be transmitted to us in the characteristic style of their time and, through the melodies of the Italian mandolin and the Spanish mandolin (or bandúrria) together with the piano accompaniment, pieces that are already part of the rich heritage of the music in general and plectrum instruments in particular.
