With this second monographic disc entitled “Romàntico – Felix de Santos / Obras de concierto, vol.2”, (see first album) dedicated exclusively to the figure of the famous teacher, concertist and composer D. Félix de Santos y Sebastián, we delve into compositions whose romantic language seeks the most intimate and human expression of feelings, through passionate and intense melodies. Waltzes, romances, ballads or barcarolas are some of the tools that the composer uses to reach the deepest part of the human being.
This great piece of work unites the past and the present: through care, respect, humbleness, and admiration we are transported to another era as well as paying homage to the great figure of D.
